Chalk Ware Dog Fair Prize

Mid 20th C vintage fair ground prize; chalk ware in the design of a puppy dog in a basket with a ribbon saying "Home Sweet Home". This is quite large measuring 11.5 inches high (approx 29 cm) and 7.5 inches wide (approx 19 cm)  at the widest point cross the basket and bow. 

The prize winner would have  their very own little pup in basket to take home! These vintage prizes didn't often survive without considerable damage but this one has made it with only a few nibbles. This is a really fun and unusual display piece for an eclectic interior , a child's room or to use as book end!
